ONLINE PRIVACY
STATEMENT
This Statement
describes the online privacy practices for web sites maintained by Security Connections, Inc.
and its subsidiaries (SCI). It does not modify any agreements SCI may have with our customers,
suppliers or other third parties.
SCI is committed
to the privacy and security of personal information you provide to us through the use of our
Web Site. This Online Privacy Statement ("Statement") informs you of our Site information
practices, including the type of personal information we collect from your use of our Site,
how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.
By using our Site,
you agree that your use is subject to the terms of this Statement and you consent to the collection,
use and storage of your information by SCI in accordance with this Statement. SCI may change
this Statement at any time and will display the changes here on this Site. Because your use
of this Site after changes have been posted indicates your agreement with those changes, we
encourage you to visit this Statement on a regular basis. If you are not comfortable with
using this Site in accordance with this Statement, please exit the Site immediately.
1.
Collection and Use of Information
You may visit this
Site without registering or disclosing personally identifiable information, although some
areas of this Site may require authentication. SCI may ask you to provide personal information,
such as when you are asked to complete an online form or a request with regard to a product
or service from SCI. This information may include name, physical address, phone number, email
address and other personal information that you choose to provide. SCI uses this information
for purposes of communications with you, to respond to requests you may have, and for marketing
purposes. If you wish to update information you provided through this Site in connection with
regular mailings or you wish to have your name removed from a mailing list, you may do so
by sending an email or by submitting an updated form through the same communication channel
you initially submitted the information.
The information we collect from you as you communicate with
us using our web site(s) includes "cookies," your IP address, and your email address.
Cookies: Cookies are small
pieces of information sent by us to be stored on your Internet browser which help us recognize
you and better serve you when you visit our site.
This type of technology is designed to tell us when you reenter our Site, Site navigation
activities and help address any problems with Site administration. Cookie
information is stored in encrypted format and expires after a short time period. We do not
use cookies to get data from your hard drive or to get or store your email address or personal
identifying information. Most browsers can be configured to inform you when cookies are set
or to prevent cookies from being set. Please note, however, that by not accepting cookies
you may limit the functionality we can provide when you visit our site.
IP Addresses: When you enter
our web site, you pass through a "firewall" we use for security purposes. As you pass through
it, we identify the Internet Protocol or IP address associated with the device you're using,
such as a personal computer or handheld device. The IP address does not identify you personally,
but it does allow SCI to identify the device you are using. We store IP addresses in case
we ever need to track a connection to its point of origin for security reasons.
E-mail: When you send us an email we will use your email address to
reply to you, and, for a limited time, we will store your email address, your message, and
our response for quality assurance. We may also do this to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
We may let you know by email about other products and services which may be of interest to
you. You may reply to any email message we send to you to tell us that you no longer wish
to receive future messages from us in e-mail.
2.
Sharing of Information with Third Parties
SCI will not sell
or give your personal information to third parties for their use for purposes unrelated to
SCI without your permission.
SCI may disclose
your personal information as we consider necessary to comply with the law or governmental
authorities, in connection with litigation, dispute resolution, or administration of this
Statement or a possible violation of this Site's Terms of Use or the rights of SCI or a third
party. In addition, SCI may disclose or receive personal information in connection with a
possible sale, purchase, merger or other reorganization of a business.
3.
Retention
SCI will retain
personal information collected by a Site for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purpose
for which the information was provided, to maintain a record of communications with you, or
as required by applicable law.
4.

security on the Internet to protect your nonpublic personal information from loss, misuse,
alteration, or destruction. Specifically, information that is collected for processing or

that do not have adequate security measures and may be accessed and used by persons other
than those intended. As a result, while protection of your personal information is important
to us, SCI is not able to ensure the security of information you transmit to us and you assume
the risk of any third party obtaining that information. Upon receipt of your information SCI
will strive to ensure its security on our systems.
